Just for general info. Ordered up a chain for the 'blade, price looked good, at least £15-£20 cheaper than the equivalent DID on offer.
Turns out to be a non O ring, but looked OK enough to fit for a while.
Tried to get the rivet link side plate on and it took a hefty press to get it onto the pins. It will never come loose, for sure, but is not a job you would want to try without some special tools.
Can't really recommend them for the home mechanic, I'll see what sort of service life it gives but its not filling me full of confidence.

a non O ring chain on that bike isn't going to last at all. Ok for racing but general road use its rubbish.

Also wasn't these chains prone to snapping and breaking away at speed?

Pay the money and stick with EK, even DID are made all over the place so I am told, EK still Japanese

hi, iv just been looking for a chain for my sv650, did , renthal exxc all cam up at around 70 quid for a gold o ring or x ring then i stumbled across an izumi listed as an x ring in gold for £39.00 posted so i mailed the seller and asked if by x ring it meant it had x shaped rubber seals either side of the plates ect.

he confirmed it did so iv got one on the way iv not recieved it yet but ill let you know how it is surly its going to be fine on an sv.
