Seen one I might get - much to know about them?

Do they fetch more money in supermoto form than off road form?

Prices vary massively on them - any idea why this might be?

Will always cost more in SM form, mainly due to the wheels, they're worth more, also has the better brakes and suspension.

The prices on them as usually daft, people pay over £3K for them for some daft reason, just have to keep an eye out for bargains. When I had one (3 years ago) I paid £2,000 for an '06 plate one with 3,500 miles on it, standard apart from Arrow end can.

They're good bikes, just run out of puff quickly. Loads of ways to make them quicker, and shiny bits to bolt on them.

I love my duurz, its not great at anything but then nor am I! I have a 2000 E model with enduro and sm wheels.

I was really getting a bit bored of riding sports/road bikes and even thought about ditching the bikes completely, but the drz has put a stop to that, constantly got a grin on my face whether its hacking around some lanes or doing half assed wheelies/stoppies/drifts on the road.

It really is a good thing and doesn't have much competition really, you can look at wr/crf/ktm's for the same sort of entertainment probably more fun but the drz can do pretty much everything they can without needing servicing every 5 minutes.

they are going up in value but there are bargains to be had, I have seen a few e/s models for below £1000 and sm's from £1500odd but personally I would go for the E more power, lighter and cheaper! oh and plastic tank that'll never dent!
