Hi guys/girls

I have a friend whos son needs to do alittle job on his bike, i'm just checking to see if anyone knows how easy/or if there is anything i should know in advance before it gets done!

Its an oil seal in the pictures(already has a replacement in the house)
how is this seal removed, and is it as easy as it looks?(pull off slip on etc?)
