Its nothing personal vissie its just the way you worded your message. For example:

Whats that mean?

Hi

Power will vary from year to year, and the exact spec. I doubt that an alternative exhaust for a race bike will add more that a gnats to the power, and far more power would be gained by setting the jetting correctly for the day (which you can afford to do on a race day, but not much use for jumping on the bike and riding off).

From memory the Honda RS125 uses an engine design developed from a late 80's Honda moto cross bike (CR125 I think). Plenty of developement since (doubt much was interchangeable after a couple of years). The engine is no relation to any Honda road 125. Honda jumped into the 125s with lots of success when they went to a single cylinder class and many of the makers then competing dropped out. Hopefully we will see a bit more competition as time goes on as until recently Aprilia were the only real competition, but now Derbi / Gilera have joined in and Italjet are trying.

All the best

Keith

Hi
Don't those things weigh something like 75kg, so its no wonder there fuking fast theyve got better power to weight ratios than 400s and some 600s.

Honda RS125 45 devided by 75 equals 0.6
Kwak zxr400 60 devided by 140 equals 0.42

My go-ped: 2.5bhp, 2kg = 1.25 bhp/kg - Beat that Razz

Course, once I get on it, the ratio goes a bit pear shaped!
