Cagiva four-stroke, head gasket and setting valve timing...

Hi,

My W12 (350 4-stroke, similar engine to Canyon/River, identical to 650cc W16) needs its head gasket replacing. Does anyone know how you de-tension the cam-chain to take the sprocket off the camshafts? Also, what marks are there to ensure you get the valve timing correct when you rebuild?

Hi

Got a T4 manual (which is just a supplement to another manual). Not sure how similar it is. That only says "remove the camshaft chain adjuster located at the base of the cylinder".

Sorry, nothing on setting the cam timing.
