So I bought a second set of carbs off ebay.

Stripped them down, done a complete overhaul so now they're ready to go in my bike. (Going to do it tomorrow).

Service manual says I can remove them by sliding them out sideways leaving the airbox in the bike.

But I'm sure I've read somewhere that it's best if you take them out with the airbox still attached.

Any advice?

Also, is there anything I should be aware of, or be careful with (first time pulling carbs).

Cheers.

They should pop out the side. Will be tight but dooable.

Removing the airbox may also be a bit of a pig, but have never done it on a teapot.

Thanks.

I'll see how I get on then without taking the airbox then.
(it is a bit of a pain in the arse to take the box out).
