Hi all, has anyone been to the track lately, as I heard through the grape vine that they have upgraded the track and the entry price has gone up to £15 per bike.
I was thinking of going down either Saturday or Sunday, as the weather not looking to bad, Very Happy

Edited to reflect true price Very Happy .

Crikey Shocked Inflation!

Wasn’t it £10 8 months or so ago?

Edited cause now my post looks out of context. Originally OP said £50 Mr. Green

I can't see that it's gone up that much, I think we need to wait for a first hand report on this before we spread this around the internet...

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

The woods is very hard work, too wet and clay like at the moment. Lots more extreme enduro stuff, logs, tyres, pallets which I like.

£15 is that all ? Around here you pay £25 quid for a dust bowl track no bigger than an acre. I.e. Eynsham.

Went there on my way through on Thursday last week, looks like they've had an enduro meet there recently, but the main tracks the same as ever, will rattle you fillings loose, but according to a guy who was riding that day they have put a few jumps in on the oval up by the woods, couldn't confirm this as the farmer was messing around in his tractor on the access road so i couldn't drive up there, too bloody cold to walk!! Price is now £15 a day.

was up there fairly recently, they have redone everything and taken the enduro loop right through the woods, no jumps on the little oval though

Do you have to book for this track or just turn up anytime?

Also, is it open Mon-Fri or just weekends?

Thanks.

£15 seems way cheap if you ask me!
Gokarting is £25 for only like 3 (or was it 5) laps near here!

Bit steep if you bring your own gokart!

The £15 is to bring your own bike and rag it around a random bit of land with a few slightly developed features and no marshalling etc.

It's worth giving a call (some days are 4x4 only); believe it's open most days.

they have closed it to 4x4's at the moment possibly (hopefully) for good. had too much trouble with people bringing nicked stuff up there ragging it and dumping em where they got stuck/blew up
