Road legalising.. What certificate do I need?

I plan to road register my RM 250, and asked suzuki to send me an application form for the correct document. I received this -

Can anyone tell me which one of these I need? I guess its one of the top two. The top one says ATV only but I've read that that (the certificate of newness) is the one I need?

Any help would be appreciated! Karma

I'll answer my own question in case anyone else has the same problem!

Get the dating certificate from https://www.suzukiownersclub.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=73&Itemid=624

Might as well register for a years membership for £20 and get the certificate for £20, saving you £10 over the £50 price for non members!

You'll need the one you linked to, you'll also need insurance on the VIN, an inspection at your local office, a minimum seat height of 900mm and minimum ground clearance of 310mm.

You'll need a horn.

It will need to look safe and work correctly, road legal tyres and that.

It is hassle but great if you get it all done.

Costs about £100 at the DVLA place...and you need to trailer/van it there Thumbs Up

Hi

How old is the bike? Over a certain age the requirements are a lot easier.

For an off road bike, which gets various exemptions which should make registering it easier.

Register it as enduro bike, nice and easy, minimum limits apply though.
