Hey guys..

Quick and simple.

Question any tips for removing bike details and stickers along with the remaining glue?

Hair dryer to heat up the decal and make peeling off the sticker easier

Then use surgical spirit to get off any glue

Works for me whenever I take off any decals Smile

^ this. Though I find a tin of 'petrol' lighter fuel from the corner shop works just as well and might be easier to get hold of at 6pm on a Sunday

Where did I say it wasn't Monday? Your simply confused by me throwing in a general remark as an example of a day and time when some everyday shops may be shut...

We visited our relatives in Fife once (Only the once). I never knew folk could be so tight.
We just got in the door and the uncle said, "Ken, Ye'll have had your tea then."

Get the glue off with Gaffer tape. Stick tape on glue and peel off, no chance of damaging paint finishes.

I use 99.9% IPA, IsoPropyl Alcohol, sprayed it on my "warning" tank sticker, and then using my nonexistent finger nails i scratched away at one edge to lift it up, sprayed more IPA under there, then used the wooden end of a wire brush to lift and scratch the sticker away without damaging the paint, took me 5-10 minutes but it removes all the adhesive residue, and it makes your tank squeaky clean Smile

I dunno what i'd do without IPA, i use it to clean and remove all sorts of shite.

I use IPA, but I love the idea of using tape to peel off residue. Thumbs Up

hairdryer to heat the decal and then carefully peel to avoid it coming off in pieces. WD40 and a rag will take care of any residue Thumbs Up

WD40 is a pretty good solvent for sticker glue.

WD40 did the job for me, soak and peel carefully from the edges, if you do leave adhesive stuck paper n shit more wd40 and a gentle scratch with the nails
