The ktm 1190 just doesn't have that ktm spirit. The R to me would be a better choice. But I wouldn't trade a 990 for it. Just buy the 1190 as an additional bike

Can't imagine they sell many in japan. The bike is too tall.

This is really tall! must be for big dudes in Europe.
We see many BMWs but very few KTMs here.

Then they've lowered it. The old 990 is 910 seat height. That is mine. The 990 adv is 890

910 is fine. Both my feet touch the ground flat. Its not the bike, its the japanese that are so Laughing short! Razz

So MX bikes are even taller.

The bmw is a bit lower. 870-890 but you can raise the seat. Now sure about the new bmw though
