Came across a repeat of Dragons Den which had a viable alternative to the cable tie.
Looked on Ebay, and saw they were pretty cheap, so ordered some and got them today.

Anyone else used these before? They seem, perhaps not quite as strong as cable ties, but they are a lot softer and reusable too. Good for things such as securing panniers to a bike without conventional plastic buckles which would rub and scratch paint. A lot less wastage involved too as the whole strap can be used up, unlike cable ties where the ends would have to be snipped off and thrown.
I have nothing to do with the company, just thought they could be quite useful for bikers! ____________________ To shreds you say? Tss tss tss |

We use them at work for a few things, they defiantly aren't as strong as normal cable ties but if you have lots of groups of wires to do in a row they do speed things up a fair bit, and they have a bit of flex, so good in drag chains and the like. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140
