lo everyone, time to buy new chain n sprockets for my crf, jus wondered what chain length id need for a 14/42 setup or something along those lines. its for around town mostly with a few nationals, think its running 13/43 currently.

- states that the standard chain length is either 114 or 120 links.If you start off with the shorter then remove as many links as is necessary for your needs.

Alternatively you could ask the same question here -

- so as to get a more accurate number of links for your chosen sprocket ratios.

as silly as it may sound he could be right. the standard rear sprocket size 48 teeth i think, so the shorter option wont be far off at all
