Do I need to remove the top yoke in order to fit one? When I look at the photo it's seems the only way but maybe with different damper it's avoidable.. The seller claims it's easy to remove/fit.

That might help.

Normally just top yoke nut plus some front tank bolts. Toby are a decent brand.

I looked at the website but people post mainly photos of top mounted dampers there.. I am considering getting a side mounted steering damper like the one on the photo...

The bracket for the fork seems to be one bold one piece type so removing the top yoke is unavoidable. I'm not keen on doing it, but it's my natural laziness rather than seeing is as an obstacle.

Sprint damper looks like an easy fit, but not in my price range currently...
