New rubber on the Xenter. Just about to put it away now its back from the shop. Exhaust was a pita to remove apparently.
Still it tipped into bends a lot more willingly riding it home. Then again the front tyre was soft on the way there so that's
probably why... ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Swapped the front caliper mount bolts for titanium alloy - I could feel one of the old ones stretch as I was torquing it up
Wonders if titanium alloy fixings are addictive? ____________________

Took the front sprocket cover off the fazer, no welded sprocket thank god.
Also removed a tennis ball sized lump of crap from around the cover and bamboozled myself as to why I couldn't get the clutch to automatically return, then realised the cover had to be bolted down as it has a pressure plate. ____________________ DRZ400-SM

Had a couple of new tyres put on my Chinese POS to replace the originals.
Seems to ride a lot better now as it doesn't feel so vague ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

Fitted some Eazi-Grip tank pads to help with two-up work on the STriple. Adhesive seems pretty solid and they were inexpensive compared to the Tech-Spec stuff. Didn't manage to attach each side absolutely symmetrically though, despite my best efforts, which has awoken my compulsive demons ____________________ CG125, CBF250, DRZ400-SM, Z750, Street Triple R, Tuono V4R |

smashed the number plate on the beta with my sized 11 boots when getting off the bike, didn't even bin it or drop it
rotated both the clutch and the brake levers forward as far as I could, without moving the hand guards, makes it so much easier to cover clutch and brake with one finger when standing up - should have done it last year really
practiced stand up wheelies, getting slightly better now I bounce the bike up/down rather than trying to push forward |

Rode my new FZS600, never ridden anything other than singles before. I feel like I'm going to blow the engine up revving it so much but it's only at about 6k and it goes to about 12k? before redline.
Not sure if clutch needs adjusting or it's slipping as it revs but doesn't really accelerate... Might just be me being a n00b. ____________________ DRZ400-SM

Replaced the rectifier/regulator on my GSXR 750 K7.
Had been relocated over the winter and thought I got away with it until it let go at 70 and had to be recovered
The Suzuki engineer who decided it was a good idea to put the rectifier behind the radiator should seriously reconsider a career change.
Installed a K9 rectifier and all is good. Luckily that was the only casualty and the stator and ECU are all good.
Finding you have ran out of voltage at 70 and knowing the inevitable is no fun ____________________ Previous: 2002 Speedfight 50, 2000 RS125, 2002 RS125, 1997 Bandit 600N, 2003 SV1000S
