New second hand stainless header for the grom as the original Honda one was looking very very tired. Set me back a huge £15 and releases at least another 30 or 40hp

Taken it 350 miles to rykas and to meet up with a few friends. Rykas has really nice burgers a lot better than the Ace Cafe, even though it feels like Little Chef for cyclists.

Started to properly strip down my little project, it's very addictive so far.
I'm sure I'll be swearing and crying in a few weeks time.

Chinese knock offs of Sato. Quality seems pretty good.

The ones in the first picture that I took off, not sure what they are. They finish and feel seems quality but no matter how much I adjusted them I never felt confident/planted on them.

Sold it Thumbs Up

GPZ 500 bought for 600 and rode 2500 miles over the Pyrenees and the Alps, sold for 540. Cheap motoring for the win!

There's an old SR250 sat in my old mans garage that seems to have a charging problem, I'll probably bottom the issues on that and MOT it so I can go out with my Mrs on her 125. All of my speed related thrills will be on water this year Thumbs Up

It is without doubt a very good bike, I too highly recommend them, and I will miss it. I think Triumph got it pretty much right with this bike, and it will (does) deserve a label of 'iconic'.
It was a hoot to ride, but my riding habits have changed since the days when every time out on a bike was about thrashing down some country lanes, or playing hooligan around town; although I'm not past enjoying that kind of riding now and again just yet it seems Laughing
But mostly, I sold it because I can't really afford to run two bikes and a car. The funds are also going to allow me to have a really good Euro trip, where I can relax a bit about the costs and just enjoy it - touring and exploring are more important to me on a bike nowadays. The Fazer has always been my favourite out of the two. It's just more versatile, definitely better for long distances, and I've invested a fair bit to get it how I want it. If I'd been in a more financially secure position for the long term, I probably wouldn't have sold it, or it would eventually have been traded to give me the opportunity to try something else. The main reason I bought it was to see what all the fuss was about. I could have chosen from many bikes, but the Striple seemed to stand out as a "must try", with all the praise it receives. I had it for a bit over a year, in which I put around 4000 miles on it. No regrets Smile

Taken off my K1 thou, I believe they would fit K1-K4. Found out they are made by SES.

Not for sale currently. I will probably mod them a bit to use on my SRX project come winter time.

You wouldn't want them anyway. The pegs are tiny and badly shaped, means your feet never feel secure on them. I halved the size of my chicken strips on the first ride with the Chinese ones just due to feeling more confident.

Oil and filter change on the DRZ, cleaned the air filter and all that. Love how easy it is to work on that bike. Got the heat gun out and took off the fork reflectors on the KTM and some other random stickers the PO left on.

My first week of being a kitten murdering motorbikist saw me drop a glove out of my helmet during my college day. Went down well with the bank (read: Parents) who loaned me the money in the first place Doh!
