Ordering new chain and sprockets... how exciting
New LED headlight kit too as the Dorso's ability at illuminating the road ahead is shockingly poor. ____________________ Current; 10' Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.

On the k's you get a lot of vibration in the foot pegs. Now to remove this I was told about a method at the raven on thursday putting a sock over the pegs. So this was done feels like a new bike now in the pegs. Tested it at over 70 and feet still stay connected to the bike.
Someone offered me £20 for putting my little pony on the bike so that is due to be collected.

Fitted K-tech front sping and cartridge kit. Because bike is heavier than a super tanker.
Fitted Yoshi cans because £38 from ebay.
Removed power commander because it appears to be borked.

Yesterday. Bought it. Rode an hour home in the pishing rain via muddy farm lanes and only found power mode button once home.
Lowered rear sets, attached optimate lead, half a turn of rear pre-load.

Brain is having to re-adjust a bit. She's quite quick and there's been a lot of wine and gin under the bridge since I was 25 |

Changed the grips and *fitted a universal chain oiler.
https://i.imgur.com/8ZY505H.jpg
*none of it is actually fitted, it's all just propped in place and sticking. I'm expecting the nozzle to get eaten by the chain and the red can to rattle off. The U clamp was too small for the frame so I whacked it on and it hasn't fallen off. I Haven't been anywhere yet though either so we'll see.

Repaired the hole that had formed just before the point where the end can joins the down pipes. Gun gum, bake bean tin and a jubilee clip.

Replaced the snapped speedo cable, took off handguards as they were putting a lot of strain on the metal bit of the clutch cable.
Lubed clutch cable.
Got all the bits to redo the forks, now to find a couple of spare days to go at it. ____________________ I tell you what, mathematically, I'm having it |

Ridden it.
Took the Busa out for the first proper ride since owning it.
Beautiful spring evening, warm sunny Welsh roads and Fret in tow.
Things I have learned on the first shake down run:-
It's fast.
Very fast.
Supidly fucking fast.
It rides like a late 90's sports bike, not like a sports tourer.
The brakes are crap, going to try Brembo reds in there.
Continental tyres are really shit (especially square ones)
The rear shock is spent, Ohlins to be fitted.
I have never gelled so quickly with a bike, I fucking love it.
I am properly buzzing from the ride, 140 miles of pure fun.
Did I mention it's fast? ____________________ Quietly and consistently taking the piss.
