Will fit front tomoz.
PR4s seem to have done 8.5k, might have got away with another 500 miles but it was getting a bit squirmy in the wet the other day. |
Rear was tried today, makes the steering responsive again getting a nice round profile back on, but the front felt a bit shitty as the current PR4 is worn oddly on one side.
New front is on, can't wait to give it some. Didn't feel as tacky as the rear, bit shinier so I'll go gently for a few miles.
---Update---
Forgot how good new tyres feel, still only tested in the dry warm weather but they do feel better when leant over than the pr4s when they were new. I think there's about 1cm of the edge that hasn't touched the road yet, so more to give if needed but felt stable regardless, and I've not felt that I've been pushing too hard. ____________________

Fitted a 12v socket to the MT09.
It's an official yamaha kit that wires directly into the bikes loom via an auxiliary connector, so it runs off the ignition.

Decided to be proactive and get a new battery as the old motobatt isn't holding charge like it used to, can't complain after +6 years.
Save myself from taking the fairing off I looked up the part number on motobatt site. Did a search on that auction site and up pops a different motobatt....says it fits my bike.
I ain't got time fo dis so plumbed for the proper one albeit the more costly one.
So yeah...new battery. ____________________ Diabolical homemade music Bandcamp and Soundcloud

Tidied garage and got the 250 out, carbs off, ready to clean.
I may have too many tires.. Half are worn out but dump charges 4 quid each, which I was refusing to pay. Two more good ones on the wall.

Wheelie bin makes these disappear!
If they don't fit, cut the sidewalls out with a knife. |

Today's comedy brought to you by the numbers 10115 and 915.
10115 miles on the Enfield, with 915 showing on my "trip counter", a 3 digit combination lock which I use to record when I last filled up.
10115 - (9)915 = 100, right? Riiiight? No, wait, is that two hundr-
