I need my rear rim replaced ASAP and I'm looking at a 2001 and 2003 model rear wheel, will it fit my 1999 model?

I know the front goes up from 16" to 17" in the 2001 model but I was t sure if anything changes on the rear wheel.

Have you checked to see if the part number is the same for the two years? That would be first port of call. If it's not, it doesn't rule out it doesn't fit, it could just be a change of paint code, but if it is you have your answer.

As far as I'm aware, it's a yes.

Early fireblade wheels also fit.

Try the hornets nest.

The rear was the same until 2007 IIRC.
