Looking at a possible replacement for J.M.'s deathbed GS500F Laughing

I've owned a 1993 in the past, was spot on. Nothing to fault.

But, I'm not 100% with the issues on these, know the fuel pump can whine a little and clutches are the typical Yamaha rattle cakes.

Anything specific, do not want to go get him a lemon Thumbs Up

If its got an oil cooler fitted they are common to crack and leak around the banjo bolts, fine cracks which are hard to see, but beware if the cooler is covered in oil.
