Today I started the back end strip and check of my latest steed, apart from a few bolts the bike is rust free...I thought.
After I serviced the rear wheel I took the chain guard off and found a small patch of bubbled paint, right under the where the guard was, I am assuming its were the water dripped down over the years.
So I thought fuck it, ive done it before and removed the swing arm. I took the wire brush on a drill to it and sanded the rest down, I thought I might as well do it properly now rather than later.
So my question is jenolite still the best stuff to treat the bare metal where the rust was or is there something better?, and also which is the best cans to use on the re spray? I think I used plasticote last time. Once this is done bike is ready to ride.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Mark

Nice, but more cost and postage, but I used about 5 coats red oxide and 3-4 coats colour on the ybr, will do the same this time. But at least I know the bike through and through now.
