Planning on going to the Victoria and Albert Museum to see the Bowie stuff on the bike so need to find out about parking the bike as close as I can to the place. As cheap as I can too.
I was thinking about going by train, but getting to and from stations at either end are going to be a pain in the rectum and it is a good excuse to ride the bike. Also will I have to pay the congestion charge and how would I pay it?

When? I work in the science museum, you can pop it in our staff bit if you like. Pm me.

Also, no you don't have to pay congestion.

I'm not sure when as I need to book time off work and buy the tickets, but that would be sound. Thumbs Up

No congestion charge.

Plenty of on street parking bays:-

(Aim for the blue (paid) or white (free) parking bays).

Those in Wesminster council you do have to pay for (£1 a day if I recall). South Kensington is right on the boundary. So there are quite a few free bays nearby though.

Just in case sign up here, in case all the free bays are full.:-

Costs nowt to sign up, just set it all up, save number on phone, park up, ring up, follow prompts enter code of parking bay sign and card info and it'll deduct monies.

Note: you can use many bus lanes around here to. Just check signs to be sure.

It's no trouble at all, as Arfa said there is tons of parking locally anyway but the bays get pretty rammed so their is a risk of a scratch or two, the parking for my museum is just about as close as is physically possible (short of the V&A staff parking I suppose!) and there is plenty of room and full CCTV.

As it goes I can probably get you in to the exhibition for free too if you like as long as it is just yourself.
