Bike Balance

I’ve noticed on my Thundercat that if I let go of the bars completely the bike has a strong tendency to go to the left, I have to lean a noticeable amount to the right to correct it.

Is this normal?

I would say no....

Are you sitting dead centre of the bike, it is a common thing for people to sit off centre of their machine. Maybe you are sitting off to the left, hence the bike is unbalanced in that direction?

Is your rear wheel in straight?

Or it could just be a nasty camber on the road, but I'd check the rear wheel alignment.

No Danny, that is not usual.. As Gav says it is probably the rear wheel out of alignment due to the chain adjusters.

If I let go of the bars on my GS500E, it goes where it was pointed and stays upright Very Happy

It may be going to the left if you have a lighter race can or have modified something or just your wheel being out of alingment slightly.

You'll just have to investigate it Very Happy
