Dont now if this will work
https://goo.gl/maps/8HdHF

I thought I would share a route that will be a great ride , a bit of something for everyone, some cracking scenery some good twisties and of course the Palace of the Peak Chatsworth House , and the famous Dams f the Derwent Valley used for the real life training for the Dam Busters raid .

There are a few fuel and food stops, Take your pick, and pubs where the fast lads can wait for the 125's to catch up if you do it as a group ride

Cat and fiddle, Hulme End and Bamford are good food/ drink stops cafe is available at Derwent Valley .

Depending where you are coming from you could join the route in a few places, Hattersley , Holme Firth, Flouch , Cat and Fiddle .. but if you dont do it all you will miss out
The route retraces its steps once or twice so that you can see Woodhead Pass, Holme Pass, Cat and Fiddle, Snake Pass, Wynatts Pass, Derwent Valley, Chatsworth Park.

Its a long day, There are Camp sites in Hayfield Bamford Buxton and Hulme End...if anyone feels like making a weekend of it .
Anyway its there for you to have a go at any time you feel like it, Just watch out for the sheep .
Take a Camera.

Good rides all, except these are now highly policed and have average speed cameras on most of the 'best' roads.

While it lasts, try:-
Skipton - Grassington - Hawes - Sedburgh - Kirby Lonsdale (Devils Bridge).

The first stretch is a bit narrow and twisting, but the scenery interesting. Once onto the North Yorkshire moors the roads are superb. Hawes for a butty and a look around and then a real test through to Sedburgh. The last bit down to Devils is busier but still a good run. Brew and mooch at Devils and then a relaxing tug down the M6 to (my) home. An all dayer and you will know about it when you get home, but still my proving ground of choice.

Do you mean Moors or Dales?

Generally I find the Dales to be a bit too tight - too many dry stone walls on narrow roads. About right for a 50hp supermoto sort of thing.

The Moors seem to be a bit too open generally - you're well stuck in to triple figures if you want to feel like you're making some use of the roads.

You get a good helping of both. The dales roads might be narrow, but there are fast, and very fast stretches. As I say, it is a challenge rather than a bimble.

You can call me dopey or slow, but I pushed the 'x' then the 3D & it ran through the route.

Looked excellent
