Out and about, early evening (last day of April) - on the CB125TD-E. Roughly a 15-20 mile round trip.

Heading out of the vale, north east towards the A1079 via Everingham.

At the foot of the wolds, Burnby.

Getting into steeper territory at Nunburnholme, and about to climb from 37m to 165m above sea level over the next three quarters of a mile.

At the top of the hill looking due west over Burnby chalk pit and out towards Leeds.

Note cunningly hidden trig point in hedge on left.

And this was rush hour, 5.30 - 6.30pm! It's like biking in the 1950s out here, pretty much. Of course, round every other blind bend there's a heavy piece of mechanised agricultural machinery with 10 foot long spikes protruding from the front, aimed squarely at throat and chest. Just to keep you on your toes, like. Laughing Crying or Very sad
