I've always assumed that if you're into riding bikes, you'd be into watching them race too - just wondered how many of you agree?

Not really bothered about BSB but I do follow MotoGP and WSB.

I'm planning on going to Donny for the GP and possibly Cadwell for the BSB. Maybe even the Assen WSb too.

Me too - got my ticket last week. Maybe a BCF meeting point is called for? I'll be between the old hairpin and starkeys as usual.

I like the racing and I love going to the MotoGP at Donnington. I always want to know the result and I'll watch a race if its on.

If I'm busy then I won't be too stressed if I miss a race, but I do like to watch it! Smile

If it's on I'll watch bike racing... though I don't really follow or 'support' it.
Mostly because it's a skill I can appreciate and aspire to.

If I actually knew when/where BSB was on I'd definitely watch it as it relates to tracks I've ridden.

I used to to Cadwell every year for BSB, more for the experience of 30,000 plus people crammed nto every available inch of the circuit

and as G says - you can really appreciate it when you have ridden the circuit at 10/10 of YOUR ability what someone can do who can ride at 20/10 of your ability Wink Shocked

I'll watch it if I've nothing better to do... it generally suffers from being on at a time when generally I'd rather be out on my own bike. Would be interesting to watch a race from Cadwell though, as mentioned above, it adds something if you've ridden there yourself.

Used to go and see it at Knockhill now and then when I was living up north, as our next door neighbour was riding in some amateur category (can't remember the details) and we'd go and cheer him on. Haven't been to a 'name' race, I guess partly because I don't follow it and therefore I'm not supporting anyone in particular - when I've been to F1 it's cos I was dilligently following it at the time.

If it's on I will watch it, it's not something I look to watch though.

I will be in my usual position on the Winterdike stand at Assen this weekend for the Dutch TT.

Don't bother with Donnington unless I have corporate hospitality which I have been lucky enough to enjoy for the past few years, Assen is the meet that really rock and rolls! Cool

Remorgate the house and go! Razz

I try to go to as many meetings as possible, and watch as many as i can on the TV.
Not been to the motoGP or BSB in quite a while now due to excessive entery fee. Club bike meetings are the best if you know a few racers and can go hang out witht hem int he padock and cheer them on.

Not sure what to vote for really. Motogp and general superbike racing tends to lick balls through its boringness - except when they crash Smile. I am a very big fan of US motocross, supercross and to a lesser extent freestyle motocross.

Incidently, go Mike Brown who claimed a 2nd and 3rd place in the 125 AMA motoX series last night in the third round!

I used to watch BSB on terrestrial tv but they dont cover the full race which annoys the hell outta me. So I stopped following it. But I religiously tape and watch WSB and GP's. I dont watch all 125's and 250's but I will watch some of them.

My fave riders are Walker, Bayliss, Xaus, Chilli, Gibernau & Rossi, but I do appreciate other riders if they clearly deserve to get their positioning. I have watched some AMA racing, I used to follow rallying (going to see stages in the nth of England) and British Touring Cars too. Ive been to see speedway, wall of death and love grass tracking cars aswell.

I used to go to Cadwell park regularly with my Dad and Ive been to Brands Hatch to see bike racing and Thruxton for Touring Cars.

Hi

I will watch it if I am doing nothing else. I do enjoy it, but tend to prefer actually doing something.

I will probably go for the Friday practice day at Donington again and take some pictures.

All the best

Keith
