ok I need to vent this one, really hate when somebody no matter in car or on a bike do that.

They overtake you and then get back in front of you too close or even hit the brake so you need to brake too.

Look I have got more then 30 years experience in riding and driving and can tell when this will happen when you start overtaking when I see you in my back mirror.

Please guys do not do that. It drives me nuts Evil or Very Mad

I have a cure for the car ones just got big 4x4 and moving slightly to the right only if I see the aggressive one coming usually do the job - they are more careful and keep a good distance from me when overtaking, then basically when they get in I just return to middle position, job done they cut me in but I am not there everybody happy.

Now with bikes I do not do that, probably will move slightly to the left to give you better view.

And again when I ride my bike half of the problem is solved - no car is overtaking me Smile

However yesterday I was driving my car, doing 40 in a 40 zone as usually on a cruise control so my speed is very predictable and constant and I see a guy on a bike overtaking 2 cars at once behind me and aiming to overtake me as well.

That is againg fine with me - its your license Smile

What makes me unhappy is there is a huge traffic-island for pedestrians in the middle of the road in front and I see the guy is not gonna make it.

So what do I do? Obviously I hit the brake and he gets through and he almost lost it because there is a some sand around the island and he got like 3 inches left to go between me and the island.

And I am not a happy bunny. If you want to be an as..hole could you do it without affecting other people on the road?

That is lame and I hate it, that is all I've said it Thumbs Down

Not as bad as when you go to overtake and then the person you're overtaking realises their going a bit slow and accelerates, making it impossible to complete the overtake >.>

On my shitty 125 that is.

Often find car drivers up here Don't like to be overtaken, so will drop a gear and accelerate hard if they see you passing, bit pointless when we're on 600 + cc bikes, but they try anyway.
