will be setting off about 12:30 in congleton and can meet up with anyone from the surrounding areas after that


ride will be at the pace of the slowest rider

some bastard tried to steal my bike at half one sunday morning as i was watching footy highlights


the police arrested them


i looked out of the window and saw it being put onto a low loader

ran outside and the bloke told me what happened and that it was being taken away for fingerprint testing


left mirror smashed off it . and crack in screen



police came and took statement 8 o clock sunday and i hadnt slept


the theiving bastard is going to pay for every scratch on it

That's terrible!!! Absolute bastards, how dare they??!! That makes me so mad that people think they can just help themselves to things . I'm sorry to hear that Tony, at least they caught them in time and have arrested them. Lucky escape for you.

Will it be ready for the ride this weekend? (which I am going to try to organise properly soon!)

garage can pick the bike up on friday earliest as the boss is on holiday until then which leaves one mechanic on his own


then they need to look at the damage


even if the thief gets a slap on the wrist from the cps

they will pay me back for every mark they have put on the bike

Right, lets have names then. Who's up for it? We're going to meet at Tesco's in Congleton on the A34 and go from there (I'm not leading though, so don't ask me where we're going!)

Far from it but a ride outs kind of boring if you can't push it because the roads wet and theres diesel everywhere that you have to look out for, not really fun then is it.

I've never ridden in the rain and I'd prefer not to until I'm completely comfortable with riding in dry conditions.

I can do Saturday if Sunday is a no-no. BBC weather says Saturday is sunny.

What should we do??!

Oh, Craig - look up le Cong on Multimap. If you're coming from Manchester on the A34 you literally keep going until you see the Tesco's/Shell/McDonalds business park off a roundabout on the Congleton bypass. If you like I can meet you in Alderley Edge or Wilmslow??
