Hi,
Went out to start the bike today (18 month old Honda CBR650F) and it wouldn't go. Video attached, but basically something was spinning away but wasn't engaging the engine. Had to get to work so ended up bump starting it and rode in 10 miles. Got to work, switched off and then tried to start again - fired up first time. Came out end of day and fired up again. What could this be? Is it a gremlin that has been fixed now or should I be visiting Honda for a warranty replacement of something?

Thanks in advance. |

It's still under warranty so I'd get the dealer to give it a health check. Remind them you need it for work, it's your livelihood etc etc ____________________ I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.

A few minutes of riding is enough to charge the battery following a start. 1H20 would charge it from flat several times.
BTW your starter IS spinning the engine, I don't know where you get the idea it isn't. It's just not firing up. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
