Thinking of buying a video recorder:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171018527543?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

The listing doesn't say if it has the screw bit underneath to attach it to a tripod.

Is this because it won't have one or is it not mentioned because every camera has them?

Cheers.

Most cameras have a 1/4'' BSW thread underneath to attach them to a tripod or similar.
I have to say that whilst it's not a lot of money to throw away, you are not going to get anything that even loosley passes as good quality for £17.79.
Best of luck.

yeah to be honest I'm not really bothered about quality, I'm crap with phones, cameras etc, it's more so I've got it there to video the kids and things. It doesn't need to be crystal clear, it's more so I "can" video when I want to.

It'll hardly ever get used, but my phone can't do fuck all, and my camera can't record sound, so if it does the job then that'll be good enough.

Cheers too.

If you put that on your bike (Not sure if that's your aim) it will vibrate itself stupid and you won't see a thing over 20mph.

£17? That is definitely in toy-camera price bracket.
I wouldn't expect much, and I would default to presume that if its not mentioned, it dont have it...... But...

silly question.... its on e-bay? why you putting a post up here asking US if it has a tripod thread? why not message the seller?!?!? They are FAR more likely to give definate answer than we are!

That lens reminds me of a camera my mate got years ago, after sending off Bazooka Joe tokens!

If you want to save money try something old but of better quality; I got one of these a couple of years ago. It takes great pictures and also has video with basic sound -
