Now, now, arry has told us that this isn't allowed any more, so I'm sure the practice has completely stopped.
Agreed, it's a scam. Read what it actually offers, it'll be hilarious. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Did I say that? If I did then I've obviously missed something |
I could have sworn... [searches] ... you've obviously purged it from the internets, using those sneaky reality retcon powers that you picked up at Insurer Academy. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

You have an non-fault accident... they'll provide services to help you claim.
But... if the accident is your fault... they have to anyway.
And... if the accident isn't your fault... there are loads of no-win-no-fee solicitors that will claim on your behalf and charge their commission back from the 3rd party insurer.
My friend is undergoing a claim using such a company right now. ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |

I took my TPfT policy out on-line and opted out of all extras, Recovery, claims assistance, personal injury, leathers and helmet cover etc...
With in 20 seconds I had a call from them, stating did you realise you have no extra cover etc... Tried hounding me into buying it, but I was having none of it.. As above if your TPFT you crash and injure yourself it's tuff? someone hits you and injures you, you claim off their insurance..
I basically wanted literally to get legally on the road all extras are pointless, if you break down, push it home. If you smash your bash hat buy another, if someone injures you, no win no fee jobbie. Why pay the extra £30+ each year for something you may never use
If on the other hand you have some ass, who is being difficult re insurance liability, that's when you may find that extra £30 pays off..
But in 20 years as a car driver, i paid the extras and never once claimed!! so even if that was an extra £30 a year (probably more) thats £600 i paid out for nowt ____________________ 1980 Honda H100A, Cafe racer. (SOLD)
