Nationwide Ebank fraud

I just got an email claiming to be from 'Nationwide E-bank' It claims that are changes being made to the ebank system and requires you to fill in your bank details. I fell for it, but I don't remeber all my details so I am safe. The way to identify them is to highlight the email, and if you get gobbledegook at the end of the email, it is a spoof. Can't copy the email onto here though to show you.
Thought I would spread the word about it incase anyone else get the same thing.

No bank would ask you for your bank details. If they claim to need them its a scam IMO. A genuine bank would be happy to clarify things over the phone or in person, NOT by email.
