I was trying to find one video about counter steering, where a rider punches the right handlebar to demonstrate the gyroscope effect, and this was there in the list
There's a lot of mistakes in their videos and the powerwalking is one of them, it's not smart at all.
I mean, how can you operate the rear brake, while you're doing this thing. Americans love their rear brake so if anything gets mental, they have no chance to survive
Here's a proof of what I'm telling you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ED8BfPtaTw ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

Why? I had to watch it with the sound off, so I haven't got their full story, are they selling it as some amazing trickery? |
Feet off the ground when the bike moves is the rule number 1, YES, if you just move the bike in front of your garage or so, alright, but never when the bike moves. It's dangerous and can be hurtful to ride your bike like that, even in a parking lot.
When you're about to stop the bike, YES put your both feet on the ground if it's possible, that's how you use your feet ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

When the bike moves in a forward motion or when the bike moves left and right? I still stand by the fact that for the VERY first time you get on a bike, and just for a few metres on the straight, walking with it is not dangerous at all and just helps you get a feeling for how the bike pulls away without worrying about where the pegs are, how you'll balance at such a slow speed, and whether you accidentally press the back brake. ____________________ What would you do in life, if you knew you could not fail?

Wherever the bike goes, in gear
I might be natural talent, but I can go much slower than that person in the powerwalking video and my both feet are on the pegs
+ When I ride the bike I use both brakes to stop it, so I stop it with only left foot on the ground at the time, I already got there the neutral. And to take off, I put it in gear, put the right foot on the brake and take off releasing the brake. When I stand in a junction I've got both feet down.
But in fact, just don't think about it and ride ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

You're really missing my point here - I'm talking about that very first moment you get on a bike, before you've ever ridden before. Not for people who have been riding for anything more than an hour, which I assume you have
I'm sure the person in the video can also go much slower, and with their feet up, they're just trying to demonstrate a point ____________________ What would you do in life, if you knew you could not fail?

I see your point ... but its just when i did my cbt it was my first time on a bike and i never did that.. i had my foot near the floor to push me up if the inevitable happened also what if you pulled away faster than anticipated.. doing that cpuld knock you of balance. :/ |

Alright, I see, but still I didn't do that, my the very first time on a motorcycle was simple, sit on it, got it in gear, went straight, stopped, found neutral, pushed it so I could turn the bike and went back on the straight line, after about three straight runs I tried to turn the bike and I did it, yahoo, my mate was glad I didn't ruin his bike and I went to the traffic school to get my licence
The traffic school was alright, then I got my GPz550 and on the first trip I had quite remarkable close call. I went down hill, just a dry dirty road poured with gravel. The idle got a bit up and when I put it in gear and released the clutch it just went fast forward, panicked, squeezed the front brake, blocket the wheel, sliding down the road a oncoming car got in front of me, I somehow realized that I had to release the brake and squeeze the clutch lever, the bike got grip again and I stopped the bike under the hill like a pro Mates still have a laugh about it ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ
