Got me a new bike at the weekend.

All the pics for now. It's a 99 cb1100sf x11 with a 929 rear end.
I'm trying to get hold of an original headlight as the twins spotlights are a bit gay and have a bad habit of looking at the ground when I wheelie.
The exhausts are crazy loud so have ordered some baffles.

I've never really seen one of these bagster cover things before but it's great. Got the tankbag to go with it too.

I always quite liked these TBH!
Shame the press didn't.

It's in some ways a 900 Hornet with attitude! It's a shame it was still a bit heavier than would be ideal for what it was trying to achieve.

Kudos to Honda though for doing what Suzuki and Kawasaki wouldn't have the balls to do, and for what Yamaha didn't have the Means to do.

I think the Bird engine would have been even better in the 900 Hornet frame maybe, and it would have probably ended up a bit under 200kg at the most.

Hope you enjoy it mate, as they are a rare and underrated bike, with not much awareness or following.

Don't they have restrictive down pipes? Changing them releases some more bhp i think.

Even with the baffle in, those Danmoto cans are loud Laughing

I never quite understood these. Blackbird engine in a naked. Felt a bit barge-like when i test rode one, but then so does the 900 Hornet Laughing

What are your plans for it?
