I'm looking for budget paddock stands for my new Honda Hornet.

They have to support my bike whilst I oil the chain and just do basic tyre checks etc

I also want them as a lift for the bike for winter storage ie keeping the tyres of the cold floor etc

Will these do?

I don't race, and am no mechanic. Basic maintenance and storage

Anyone bought these?

Thanks Matt. Was a bit worried about going too cheap but then thinking I only really need 'quick blocks of wood' if that makes sense.

Thanks.

I have the rear one and it's fine for getting my Thundercat up. I just put a piece of decking board under the side stand in order to keep the bike nearer upright while I lift it on to the stand.

Thumbs Up

I have Budget Paddock stands. They are actually Heart Stopping Shit yer Pants devices on any bike I have had the displeasure to lift onto them.

I now have an Abba stand. This should be industry standard. (no pun)

You drop a bike off budget stands you'll pay more than the cost of the abba stand.

Save you dosh and buy an abba stand. They are very serious bike tools. I use mine for cleaning as I don't need to do much maintenance. But the bikes are rock steady on them.
