It being solid at high speed / strong winds is a big factor, but beyond that I'd probably have one. Looking like I've got something trying to burrow into my skull is worth being able to see whilst riding in the rain.

I have these (two in the pack when I got them). Work okay with normal gloves, no good with mitts, obviously.

Yes I've used a VeeWipe in the past too.
(Quite effective, except that I kept forgetting to take it with me / keep it in my pocket etc)

That's waaaay too big and stupid looking, and it looks so flimsy it wouldn't stand up against 40mph, never mind 70!

I have a rubber wiper on the index finger of my left glove. I've not used it yet. Not that it hasn't rained (cos it's done that plenty!), but the steaming up seems to happen and make me open my visor way before it's full of rain drops to the point I can't see. Never could get a pinlock visor for my helmet, silly me buying a brand that's not that well catered for (Airoh) - pinlock ready, just can't get the bloody pinlock visor anywhere but Germany!
