Well, I think it's fair to say I've well and truly caught the biking bug, on my days off I've spent half hour to an hour just riding and practicing most days, but today I finished work at 1am, got to the end of my road about 10 past and ended up walking through the door at about 3!

I was just really enjoying myself and kept riding, absolutely love riding a motorbike, does anyone else do this?

If there's anyone just watching the forum thinking they'd like to try it just go for it, best decision I've ever made Smile

If I'm out for a ride just for fun I may have a destination in mind, or may not. Either way I will take random left and right turns to find new roads etc. and will often ride past my house when returning home and go-on to somewhere else.

I grasp at the most tenuous excuse to ride.

Me too, but not at 3am. I normally wait for day light hours. Although this morning I could of as I haven't been in bed since 2am (as my name suggests).
Basically since I thought I'd have a go at riding a motor bike at the tender age of 47, I will find any excuse to get on the bike and just ride. Most of the time with no destination in mind, just the open road.
So I get all the chores my wife sets me done as early as I can and then start up the bike and disappear for hours, only coming home to eat and eventually stretch my back (the 125 is a little small for me, but I'm booking my MOD 1 hopefully later today).

I'm always going for a little potter about on the bike. Can't help myself, get a bit antsy when I sit around with nothing specific to do. I use any excuse to go for a ride. That hasn't died down at all in the two years I have been riding. Love it.
