Nick remember what I was saying about you having your feet too close to the floor?

Look how far you are pointing your toes down on that left side as you are going into the corner ?

If you have your toes on the peg it feels better when you are cornering makes it easier to lean the bike over and you wont accidentally flick the gear leaver and upset the balance of the bike mid corner.

Great day out though ...apart from the guy on the ST1300

SILLY PRICES FOR A PHOTO THOUGH !!

TBH I think it is quite reasonable. But as my own job is a photographer I would say that wouldn't I. Laughing

If I liked the picture I would pay it. - But I don't so I won't.!

If I saw someone with a camera snapping me as I rode past, I'd probably think it was the cops up to some new kind of no good Shocked

This idea does strike me as a little bit odd. Not sure that anyone would buy a picture of themselves, unless it was something spectacularly good. Not sure if you're buying a license to use the photo commercially for your 20 notes - if you are, I could see there being a market as it would be somewhat cheaper than going to a picture agency if you wanted a shot of 'a biker' riding past.

This basic idea isn't new. It's common at marathons, 10Ks etc for snappers to take pictures and then sell them: https://www.antbliss.com/ This particular group charge £11.99 for a digital picture, which I have always thought was fucking shocking Shocked Not least as the runners pay to race (£15-20) in addition to paying, in many cases, the subs for their running club membership. I snap at quite a few races myself - obviously not in the same volume that several pro snappers round a course can rack up, but I put my snaps online for anyone to download for nowt - https://serunning.blogspot.co.uk/ - and some of the commercial lot really do get the hump over it Laughing

I think this guy would be better off giving away the pictures he takes and maybe looking for commissions (bikers pay him a fee to take assorted shots of them riding, for example).

Lack of lean, focusing on a camera rather than the road.

Shutter speed too fast for those kind of photos. No sense of speed at all.

How can you legally take a picture of someone then charge them for it?
Surely if it is purely a picture of you which you didn't ask for you have the right to it? Laughing

Do he have his models release form completed so he can sell those photos of these people? Wink

Model release forms are not required in the UK anyway - It's an urban/internet myth.

They are however required to sell the images for publication in many other countries. (the USA being one)

Legally they are not required but it is often standard practice.

Photograph taken in a public place, you have no rights to it and you can't prevent it from being sold on etc. How do you think those paparazzi scum make a living? They take pictures in public places of 'celebs' that's how.

its not the best of corners to be snapping from anyway you get much more lean on at the next set as it goes tightly back on its self.... anyway I am bored now so going out for a beer.

The paps break the law frequently (repeatedly snapping someone against their will is harassment, snapping someone where they would expect privacy is voyeurism). But I think the vast majority of celebs know the game. They need the paps, the paps need them.
