Hi eveyrone, i'm new to using forums so please bear with me. Also i'm still a learner and do not have much mechanical experience.

I've got a 2008 ybr that i bought in october 2012, the lad i bought the bike from admitted to pressure washing it a couple of times (he was a newbie too) which put me off though he reduced the price by £150 so that kept me interested. The bike on the odd occasion would start first time though 90% of the time it'd be second time start. Over time the bike is taking more and more tries to start. I changed the sparkplug yesterday and that hasn't helped.

Could anyone give me some advice of things to check/change?.. as i don't really want to pay garage prices for something that may be easy to do myself.
The only thing i could think of is moisture in the eletrics or maybe a new fuse?

Thanks,
Craig.

That all seems normal, but obviously a new battery may help starting a bit and i believe they are about £20.00 delivered for a YBR125 on ebay.

Whats the mileage and year of the bike? Is it the carb model or fuel injected?

If the bike is spinning over quickly enough on the button but just not starting, don't waste money on a new battery Wink
