Hi guys, i have basically been saving for a motorbike lately and im looking to get something that will last a fair deal but obviously be as cheap as possible (Im a student)
I have been looking at bikes up to 125CC and up to about £800

The basic question i wanted to ask is - Has anybody heard of JinLuns before? i have noticed them popping up quite alot in my searches and they seem to be perfect....

They are in my price range and look absolutely amazing for such a small engine! The only thing that is putting me off is the fact that i have never really heard of the name before (Sorry if its just me being ignorant) and just thought you guys would be the best to ask... Thanks everyone!

Dude, get a used Honda CG125.
For £800 it would be in pretty decent condition.

I'm guessing its a generic Chinese bike, so will probably rust away before your eyes, and likely be extremely unreliable, and gutless.

Go for a used Japanese ... CG125, YBR125 etc.

Hi there

I have been riding a Chinese 125 for just over 11 months, had a few problems to start with, mainly down to the dealer Sad since then it has been running fine since. As for rust, a bit here and there. But it gets me to work and back with no problems.

Given the choice between a Chinese bike and a Japanise bike, I would more then likely pick a Japanise bike.

You can buy my CG for £800. It's a bulletproof bike, won't let you down.

Do not buy a Chinese bike, reasons why:

My riding buddy rides a little Chinese 125 and it's just a heap of shit, he's has loads of problems that some how weren't covered by his warranty and he paid 1,500 for it (Zontes Panther 125) It broke down the first day he bought it.
The warranty isn't worth the paper they're written on
You'll have all sorts of problems mechanical and electrical.
They rust quickly
They may tell you it's a japanese engine... but its not, they're just based on old japanese engines, they're not actually jap' engines.
Parts will be hard to come by
If you're buying it brand new, it'll devalue very quickly and be harder to sell than a Jap' bike.
Built making cheap parts, hence why they're cheap to buy.

For £800 you could find a Honda CG125, very reliable, very cheap to run and maintain and a good little commuter.

It'll also be more reliable than the chinese 125 you want to buy.

If you like cruiser style bikes and looking to spend around £800 get a suzuki gz125 or a yamaha sr 125
