Failed Car Test

Well after months of lessons and even more time waiting for the test I failed Crying or Very sad

. Looks like no matter how insecure I am about the bike I'll be on it for a while at least which isn't to bad I guess. Is there any way of getting a test quicker? The waiting list is something ridiculous like 3 months in Luton! Most pissed off about it and want to shout at something Evil or Very Mad

Bummer.

I think you can ask to be called if someone cancels, or you can go and do your test somewhere where the list is shorter.

just keep phoning and asking if they have any cancelations, from start to finish i managed to get my car lisence in just under 4 weeks because i had 6 lessons in the space of 2 weeks and i managed to get my theory test and driving tests within 3 days of each other due to people canceling

go to book car practical test
Enter iny our post code
Select Soonest possible test date.

Where i live it is a 10 week wait for a test, i was able to book a test for 2 weeks time.

what did you fail on?

I'm not sure what I failed on really, like i did loads of stupid little things that got me minors but in didn't get enough minors to fail. He gave me a major for when he said "follow the road" I went straight on but that wasn't following the road because it veered left. Right at the beginning of the test when I was fucking nervous.

I know what you mean, like a junction on a bend? and you went over the junction rather than round a bend. To be fair unless you did the proper checks and indication, I would have failed you for that as its pretty dangerous.

But yeah I know it was a mojor so was really a fail but still uber pissed off about it, just causes so much more hassle.

You can get away with prettymuch anything on your test, so long as you signal correctly and check your mirrors. taking the wrong turn would normally just count as a minor on misreading road markings. if you just veerd off without signaling and checking mirrors then thats an instant fail and possibly a dagerous driving.
