This isn't really touring or exploration but figured it's the best place to ask. If anyone has been or is from Minehead and knows a good place to stay and can accomodate the bike. I would appreciate any suggestions.

It's called Waverly Bed & Breakfast. I think there's a few places in and around there that are biker friendly. But this place you can't lock it to anything. But they said they've never had any problems. Don't go til friday so have no idea what's it's like. Looks nice though.

I'm from Minehead.

Would suggest Minehead is ok and the Waverly is fine (good write ups).

Are you planning to visit anywhere whilst your there or is is just a whistle stop??

Oh nice one, yea i've heard good things about the place. I've got a mate who lives down there and another whose also visiting. Figured i'd have a ride down. Will be there until Sunday but if i'm having too much fun i'll see if i can stay Sunday night aswell. I'll get there Friday morning and the plan is to spend the day and night in Minehead. Saturday will be riding most of if not all day around Exmoor towards Barnstaple etc. Kind of got a route in mind but going to look more. If you've got nothing planned your more than welcome to join me.

Lots of routes over Exmoor towards Barnstaple.

Lynton & Lynmouth is a good stop off place, lots of views, just need the weather.

I work Saturday morning and don't generally finish until about 1pm Crying or Very sad

We are in the holiday trade.

Let me know if you are going anywhere on Sunday??

You were right about Lynmouth, great little place to stop. Didn't go into Lynton though. Came back through Simonsbath n Dunster.
I'm in 2 minds whether to stay Sunday but I do want to go for another ride so if you fancy it let me know.

Hi, it looks like it is going to be a good day tomorow weather wise.

Sooo, I am going to do a ride out with the the

https://www.facebook.com/groups/qefmotorcyclegroup/

They are doing route to Bideford and back which will be a decent rideout.

Your more than welcome to join me as I live in Williton which is on the way from Minehead to Taunton.

I could meet you in Williton at 8.30am and then continue to Taunton for the start of the ride at McDonalds, Taunton.

Theu are leaving between 9-9.30, so I wanted to get there so I could have some brekkie.

The return is then back to Taunton or Minehead, as we can break of from the group on the way back??

Just an idea and no probs of you don't want to.

Links below.

I did indeed mate, thanks for the invite. I'd highly recommend riding this part of the country to anyone. I got all day to get back aswell so I'll just enjoy it. Its meant to be dry but cloudy so fingers crossed.
