Description:
Designed by the father of computing in 1847 but never built -- until recently. This is the second of only two Babbage difference engines in the world, completed in 2008 and located at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA until the end of this year.

Very interesting watch, but I did wonder when he said the dripping oil was a feature and not a flaw, I would argue it is a design flaw of the era, since they had not invented better lubrication at the time surely?

You do realise that there is one on display in the Science museum in London that you can go and see? It's only operated once or twice a year though.

I actually knew a couple of people involved in the project, including the late Anthony Sale who also led the rebuild project of the Colossus computer:

I'm a volunteer at The National Museum of Computing (and have been for the last 5 and a bit years) so I get to see this sort of stuff on a regular basis.
