I lift mine up if I'm in a 30 zone, and have it open it a touch if it's getting steamy. I don't like feeling claustrophobic so I like to have it open as much as possible as long as I'm going slow enough to not make my eyes water!

when you ride you tend to watch the bugs as they come to you which is why they always seem to go intot he eyes. it is common sence to ride with it down anyway if your going over 40 because the wind blasts restricts your vision. let alone what the bugs in you eyes do.

I've often turned up at college or work with a soaked face through wearing my visor up in torrential rain; important thing is that i actually got there because i could see where i was going.

That was with my old £40 full-face, now i've got an HJC offroad lid with goggles.

Guess it's not illegal to ride without the goggles either then? Gets a bit blowy over 50mph though. Smile

I ride with my visor one click up up to about 50 mph most of the time to stop steaming.
