I take a rather "lame" approach to filtering and riding in general that I'm sure will get me a few meme punches

Just because I can, doesn't mean I have to.
Yes I can overtake most cars on single roads, yes I can slip my bike through traffic to get to the lights first. But truth be told I rarely do.
I'm quiet happy to be sat behind other traffic who are doing the speed limit or a tiny bit under. I'm happy to wait in a queue of traffic, knowing filtering will only progress me 50 meters before I'm waiting again.
It's well known that alot of motorists (not just guys) treat other traffic as "opposition" or a challenge
While it's great fun overtaking your imaginary rival, it ahs the potential to get you into a bad situation very quickly.
I love driving and riding, but It became apparent to me that I couldn't keep the GO GO mentality from driving when I was on the bike.
Filtering is the major attraction for riding a bike in busy cities, I don't doubt I would be attempting the same if confronted with those volumes of traffic daily. However even as a newbie, as summer approaches it's interesting to see the riding styles of those city filterers when they come for joy rides in Cornwall

Nope, don't do kneedown, nor do I wheelie. There is, however, a difference between finding something new and challenging (which is perfectly legitimate), and feeling the need to post a rather insipid youtube video to a community that's not really been historically welcoming to such documentary evidence in the past.
