You need to drop your dad like he is on fire.

Obviously doesn't give a shit.

You also need to keep your temper fuse nice and long... apologise to flat foggot, kiss and make up, move back in and get comfortable.

You are an adult now, time go get them nuts out of the packaging buddy Thumbs Up

Top man for caring and looking after your grandad, such a shame about your dad. Luckily doesn't seem you inherited his genes.

Where are you posting this from? Your grandad's place is vacant, get in.

Whenever you're about to go off on one, think "What would my dad do?" Then do the exact opposite.

Shop him in to the old bill for theft. And whilst your at it, change the locks on your grandad's house. Good on you for looking after your grandad. They are a soft target for a lot of people including, in this case, family members.

This is one for Jeremy Kyle, it is beyond BCF's remit.

If it's feasible I second moving into your grandads place, as Firstly you have a roof over your head, and secondly you could keep your eye on the place and his stuff, so that nothing happens to the place while he's in hospital/care. You have a nice sense of care to your Grandad, and by looking after his place and stuff, your doing something that is a good thing for everyone, and dare I say, also stopping your dad from robbing the joint or stealing anything if he's so inclined.

Can also see the advice being worthy about making up with your flatmate, as a row and falling out over nothing serious or violent is probably not worth losing a roof over your head, if you generally get on ok and like where you live etc.

if you don't make things right between you and your flatmate, and can manage for no until you can start again and get another place, then that might be fine this time, but there's only so many times you can start over and each time gets harder IMO, so if you really want to start again, then think about what someone else said about keeping a longer fuse in future if you have conflicts, arguments or fall out with anyone.

It can be nice to not give a fuck and tell everyone what you think of them in every situation in life, but id say at least 70% of the time it's best to keep a lid on it and even pretend to not care or get wound up if you end up in a situation at home or work that your not that happy with etc.

Get in touch with your local social services dept and tell them about your Dad and your Grandad's money. They should investigate and if necessary will put a POVA (protection of vulnerable adults) in place. Sounds like a shitty situation, I hope that things soon improve for you.

This

Its unlikely that your dad put your grandad into a home, unless he is self funding (and I would guess he isn't) then he would have required a social work assessment and panel approval for funding. He therefore has had contact with your local social services recently. Give them a call (numbers in the book or easy to Google) and explain your concerns. This should be treated as a safeguarding issue as a result of financial abuse.

Is your grandads flat his own or council ? Only either way I would imagine its not gonna be yours for much longer unless you can prove you have a right to occupy.

12 odd hours on and I am still in awe of that righteous booshing of Karma, and in awe that there is a game with a unicorn who fires rainbows out of its arse.

I feel like I need to go out and give people money for the entertainment value that has offered, feel like someone is being cheated out of something here.

That needs to be printed off and stapled over the Mona Lisa
