Hey guys, so last week my girlfriend's mum reversed into my motorbike and knocked it over, completely breaking the front right cowl, and a few other things need to be fixed/replaced.
I went to a couple of garages and one quoted me £500 (no way), another said £200.

I know somewhere that can do labour for £10 an hour for me, but I need to get the parts myself. But I'm struggling to find a replacement cowl in many online shops.

Does anyone have experience with https://www.bike-parts-honda.com/ ? I've tried looking for reviews but nothing's coming up, and I dont want to pay £85 ish for parts and get ripped off.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If she is a total dog, check david silver spares, what bike is it for by the way?

could be legit but on the face of it, it's an awful site.

registered to a po box in australia, the who are we page has no address/number listed but the map links to a honda dealer in france.. Question

i wouldn't trust it

what bike is it? what do you need? if its older than 2001 then david silvers will be the place to try

Dont know if I would buy from that site but bugger me it's great for getting exploded diagrams for bikes Thumbs Up

Only got a cbf125 (2011), not doing my test til i turn 19 on saturday becauseof the new test rules.

Yeah thought it looked a bit dodgy, I'm just struggling to find the parts

Pfft, go to the dealer with a bike that age, get a price list and see if she'd rather go through insurance.

As said above for an idea of the cost give David Silver a call.
I've found best to call or send an email about specific bits as all of what they can get isn't listed on their site.

For another idea of prices I've found if you google Lings Honda they have the prices and also access to all the fiche diagrams where it fits (IIRC you now have to sign up to the site to view images, not really a problem).

Failing that do a google or consult yell.com for your local bike breakers for 2nd hand bits and give them a call.

Oh thanks, I found lings earlier but I didn't bother when I saw you have to sign up to see if they have the parts. They have the parts I need in stock for £42 for the cowl and £10 for another small panel, so I'll order that now.

always used https://www.ronayers.com/fiche myself for similar part identification. Smile

good to find the part no, then off to david silvers to search on it
