Never been able to get a straight answer on the subject. |
Possibly because no one really knows and wants to go out on a limb. My routine is that I park up, lock the bike to a ground anchor, go inside and take my kit off and then walk the dog. When I come home (30-40 minutes after parking up, approximately), I put the cover on the bike, rain or shine. I've not had any issues, but that doesn't really answer your question. I'm guessing that waiting only 5-10 minutes would be plenty to avoid any heat issues from the exhaust or engine. The cover seems to breath well enough and have an absorbent lining, so I've not noticed any issues with covering up a wet bike, either. ____________________ Current: '14 VFR800X Test passed 31/10/12.
