URGENTLY need help peugeot speefight ELECTRIC START BUTTON!!

I urgently need some advice with a peugeot speedfight X-Team LC i have.

I recently got the bike (barn find) had been sitting two years, finally got it running-perfect, only to find the electric start isnt working.

Ive been using the kickstart but the splines inside are F***** and i really need the electric start to work for when i sell it and for the MOT which is on tuesday.

ALSO the horn is not working, niether is the fuel gauge but i dont care about that, just the horn and electric start.

Its odd that the horn and the electric start buttons are both the same on the handlebars could this be a coincidence or are they connected somehow?

Ive brought a brand new battery for the bike and yes ive checked the 5amp fuse by the battery, im not sure what to check next i know ive spent far to much out on this bike already making it look nice painted bits new battery etc etc i REALLY need a mechanics advice on this Lectric start issue and asap
Or if anyone else has had similar problem?

Oh also the temp gauge not working-saying that i havent took the bike out on the roads to really heat it right up so not sure....
so
1. ELECTRIC START BUTTON NOT WORKING (not even a clicking noise-NOTHING)
2.HORN NOT WORKIN
3.PETROL GAUGE NOT WORKING
4.TEMP GAUGE NOT WORKING

so far ive
1.checked fuse
2.brought a new battery and fully charged it
3.the lights, indicators, break lights, number plate light ALL work when bikes running and the indicators and break lights work when engines OFF and ignitions ON so thats all good.

So im guessing its going to be a electrical fault rather than starter motor fault as ive read that the starter motor would at least make a CLICK noise if power was being sent to it?
PLEASE help need this sorted by tuesday well monday latest.
