Hey Guys n Gals
Just thought I'd say a quick hello. Got my CBT tomorrow and I can't wait. Hoping all goes well so I can get myself a nice wee 125 for a year or so then do my big bike test. Gotta save those pennies though. This forum has given me loads of pointers and great advice...although if anyone has any pointers then please gimme a holler.
Cheers

Hello. Good luck.

I'm riding to Ayrshire last weekend in April. I'll look out for you. Laughing

Oh please do look out for me as I know no one here and those people I do know didn't wanna brave it with me. So I'll be a Nigel no mates until I meet up with a few like minded folks (hopefully from a forum such as this) to tear up some tarmac. I'll keep y'all posted about CBT.

Proper advice that is.

Put lots of thin layers on as it'll keep you warmer. No one likes being cold and a bikers life is spent in the cold wind chill.

Enjoy the day, its good fun and its a lot to take in on one day but bear with it and relax. Thumbs Up

Enjoy the "California Dreamin'"* you get once you've had that hot bath/shower when you get home.

Once I've been cold on the bike then warmed up, I find you get an effect that would cost a good £20 and a certain amount of coughing under other circumstances.

*Supposedly the effect found by surfers when they warm up after a day in the cold water.
