Well today I picked up my first ever bike. A nice 2001 SV650. 20k miles on the clock and very clean.
As soon as I sat on the bike I felt right at home on it. Ride home was soaking wet so didn't get much time on it but I loved it. cant wait till I can get out on it properly.
Great insurance on It too.! £116 fc no ncb but 8 on cars. And I'm 26.
Very happy with that.
Before anyone says pic's or gtfo I'll hopefully have time to post some tomorrow.!

Congratulations, hope you enjoy.

Only one thing though - is insurance company aware your NCB is from cars? The reason I ask is I had a couple of years off of road bikes and when I went to insure again they wouldn't accept NCB from cars though they were perfectly happy for me to list penalty points gained in cars Evil or Very Mad .

Just in case they use it as a wriggle out if you ever need to claim!

Cheers. Yes they are aware they had two different sections. One asking about years holding a bike licence and ncb then another about car info also a question if I currently use a car day to day.
